Credential verification

Achievements you can share. Credentials others can check.

Every certificate carries a code. Type it, or scan the QR printed on it, and see who issued it, to whom, its recorded status, and how the record was checked. No account needed.

Codes look like ACD-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX and are printed next to the QR code.

What a check tells you

  • Valid: no revocation is recorded and its expiry date, if supplied, has not passed.
  • Expired: its recorded validity period has ended.
  • Revoked: the issuer withdrew it. Do not rely on it.

Acadasco pushes operator-signed records to Validicate, which verifies and stores them. Records can be updated, including for revocation. Where no stored copy exists, a check uses the issuer’s live API and clearly identifies that source.

Check in seconds, without an account

A verification page shows the holder, the title, the issuer, the dates, the evidence the issuer recorded and the current status. The page is public by a randomly generated code; anyone with the link can view it.

For issuers

Give every achievement a record people can check

Validicate stores operator-signed copies of credentials issued through Acadasco. Learners can share a consistent record, and visitors can see its status and verification source without an account.

Signed at issue

Each issuer signs every record with a key of its own (Acadasco with its operator key). Validicate verifies that signature before storing the record.

Expiry and revocation

Status is computed from recorded expiry and revocation. Stored records depend on updates reaching Validicate.

Privacy by construction

Verification pages are public by a code with 80 random bits. Profiles are opt-in; hiding an entry does not make its verification page private.

Any organisation can issue

Acadasco academies are issuers automatically. Another organisation proves its domain, accepts the issuer terms and the data processing agreement, and signs its credentials with its own key once Validicate has approved it. Become an issuer.
