Using Validicate

Validicate is a verification and credential-holding service operated by Acadasco. By using it you agree to the following.

Verification

A verification page reports what the issuer asserted and the status computed from that record at the moment you open the page. Validicate checks the issuer's signature but does not assess the quality of the training behind a credential; that judgement is the issuer's and yours.

Holder accounts

Accounts are personal. You may only claim credentials issued to email addresses you control. You decide what appears on your profile; do not present hidden, expired or revoked credentials as current elsewhere.

Issuers

Issuers are responsible for the accuracy of what they push, for revoking credentials they withdraw, and for having the right to name the holder. Acadasco academies are onboarded as issuers automatically; other issuers join by agreement with the operator.

Availability and changes

The service is provided as is. We may change or discontinue features; credential records and their signatures remain exportable in Open Badges format.
